Underathens Association now operates on a membership basis, implementing the creation of active members

The aim of the association is
• the realization of an active artistic community at all levels,
• the strengthening of the social connection quality between the members of the association
• the achievement of a degree of self-sustainability .

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?

Hands-on support of independent art spaces is extremely important for the creative production and artistic practice

Access to the Underathens community offers networking not only with musicians but also with active artists of all branches of the Athenian, and not only, art scene.

A member acquires a certain prestige and correctness in the actions that will include it , as the Underathens Association has the ability to collaborate with cultural institutions both in Greece and abroad.

MEMBERSHIP – CONSPIRATOR

Currently members can only operate as a – CONSPIRATOR – and they gain the right to participate in the INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT of the Underathens Association.

The aim is for all participants to have knowledge of the INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT as well as the nature of the Underathens Association.

WHAT IS THE INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT

The INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT is (not just) a JAM SESSION. For 4 years now, players and listeners gather and improvise musicaly in a context of social symbiosis.

INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT season is 9 months.
It starts every September, with the project taking place once a week (Tuesday 21.00) and ends at the end of May with a big event (LAST TAKE OVER) on the pedestrian street of Avramiotou.

SUBSCRIPTION & MEMBER REGISTRATION

Registrations are made along with the subscription payment , either at the entrance of the venue or online. The amount of the subscription amounts to

• 5 euros per month recurring card payment.
These payments will remain in force until until the end of the season (June 2023). Subscription can be canceled at any time.

• 40 euros for the for the whole season.
PAYABLE either ONLINE or at the ENTRANCE of the venue with Cash payment.

GUEST TOKENS

GUEST TOKENS are now DIGITAL and PHYSICAL

DIGITAL TOKENS

The first three Tuesdays of each month are exclusively for members

Each member upon the  (Annual or Monthly) subscription  will receive 1 DIGITAL TOKEN per month which will expire after the end of the subscription.

Digital Token is only an invitation , cannot be accumulated and expire after the subscription ends

This allows the MEMBER, on Tuesdays when INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY is for members only, to invite people of their choice. The owner of the GUEST TOKEN redeems it at the entrance of the venue (by saying the owner’s name) and has the right to participate in the project for one time

After the guest has been informed about the nature of the space as well as about the INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT  he or she can register as a member.

The aim is for the guests to get to know the space and its activities

PHYSICAL TOKENS.

Each member paying the ANNUAL subscription will receive 1 PHYSICAL TOKEN monthly as well as 1 DIGITAL TOKEN.

PHYSICAL TOKENS are limited edition collectible handmade ceramic tokens. They can be stacked and do not expire. This means that their holder can accumulate and redeem them even after the end of their annual subscription.

They can be used not only as an invitation to the INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT but also as a FREE PASS for private and public events (parties, live performances, workshops, exhibitions, festivals, etc.) inside and outside the Underathens Association venue.

The value of PHYSICAL TOKENS is directly related to the number of active annual subscriptions and can be used in many different ways during the season. 

45′ JAM TAKE OVER

The Last Tuesday of every month where – 45′ JAM TAKEOVER – takes place will be open to the public. That is, to those who do not have the status of a member.

Every last Tuesday of the month INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY MEMBERS have the opportunity for a showcase gig in order to present their own project for 45 minutes.

The 45′ JAM TAKE OVER is open to the public in order for the members to promote their work .

Underathens covers the sound enginner costs as well as the photographic coverage of the event, giving the material to the members for further promotion

CONSPIRATOR MEMBERSHIP RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES

Members have the right to participate to the INTERGALACTIC CONPIRACY PROJECT as well as the 45′ JAM TAKEOVER .

Member have access to discounts & invitations to private and public events (party, live sessions, performances, workshops, exhibitions, etc.) inside and outside the underathens Association venue.

Also the aim is to enrich INTERGALACTIC CONPIRACY PROJECT with musical workshops and activities where members can participate and develope their artistic practice

MEMBER OBLIGATIONS

Members are required to have their membership card when entering the venue.

Members are required to have knowledge of the INTERGALACTIC CONSPIRACY PROJECT as well as the nature of the Underathens Association.
